FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEOn the Web: http://www.dmsi-world.com/press_releases.htm DMSi announces contract with SkyWest, Inc. airlines to implement an Electronic Data Management System.North Andover, MA -- January 18th, 2005 – DMSi is pleased to announce a second contract with SkyWest Airlines (Nasdaq: SKYW) to implement an Electronic Data Management System (EDMS). This contract signifies the 2nd phase of a larger effort in which SkyWest continues to meet the standards of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) by implementing an electronic method of authoring and managing documentation. Phase II of the implementation entails managing the structured and unstructured content of internally authored and vendor supplied Maintenance and Customer Service manuals, and the Temporary Revisions process. The SkyWest implementation incorporates DMSi’s Aviation Document Manager (ADM) three-tier architecture. ADM’s Document Authoring, Document Management, and Document Publishing components were designed to streamline the documentation creation, maintenance, storage, and delivery processes, supporting reuse and repurposing of document components which is key to the FAA ATOS consistent operational safety information initiative. Additional benefits will be realized by improvements in the efficiency of the maintenance organization. Document Management Solutions, Inc. (DMSi) is headquartered in North Andover, MA. Incorporated in 1996, DMSi offers a full range of consulting and implementation solutions for Content Management, Knowledge Management and Document Management systems.
